Toaster is a Principal Software Engineer at Microsoft who has been working in the authentication space for over a decade. His main work has been addressing security vulnerabilities within Windows and Active Directory, most (in)famously ZeroLogon and Kerberos Certificate-based authentication enforcements. Recently, as an architect on the NTLM deprecation project, he's been working with many teams at Microsoft to finally kill the ancient protocol. When he's not working on fixing decades-old protocols, you may find him lounging in kitchens, toasting pumpernickel bread, and giving people heart attacks in the morning with loud alarms.
