Description

Cybersecurity programs often center on systems, controls, and compliance—but rarely on the variable that introduces the most risk and complexity: human behavior. As hybrid identity ecosystems expand across cloud, on-premises, SaaS, workforce, and third-party environments, technical defenses are increasingly shaped—or undermined—by how people think, trust, decide, and interact with digital systems.  This talk shows how principles from cyber psychology can be translated into practical identity security strategy. You’ll learn how cognitive bias, trust formation, decision fatigue, and digital behavior patterns influence identity risk across authentication flows, privilege use, and third-party access. Using healthcare-driven examples, we’ll demonstrate how to design identity governance, access policies, and user experiences that align with real human behavior—reducing friction, improving adoption, and strengthening outcomes across hybrid environments.
