Speaker Bio
Krista Arndt is the Associate Chief Information Security Officer at St. Luke’s University Health Network (SLUHN), where she oversees the day-to-day operational effectiveness of the enterprise security program. With more than 15 years of experience across healthcare, finance, crypto, and the U.S. Department of Defense, Krista brings a practitioner’s perspective to building and sustaining resilient security programs in highly regulated and high-pressure environments.
Krista’s work and leadership have also been featured in the documentary Midnight in the War Room, highlighting real-world cybersecurity decision-making under pressure and the human side of defending critical organizations. She holds CISM and CRISC certifications, along with an NHRA competition driver’s license—a reflection of her belief that performance, discipline, and risk awareness matter both on the track and in security operations.
An active and committed community leader, Krista is a member of Health Sector Coordinating Council / H-ISAC, ISACA, serves as the Healthcare Sector Chief for the InfraGard Philadelphia Chapter, sits on Neumann University’s Business Advisory Council, and chairs the Marketing Committee for Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) – Delaware Valley Affiliate. She is also a published author of “Permission to Be Real: How to Lead, Influence, and Thrive Without Fitting the Mold,” where she shares her journey of leading with authenticity in traditionally rigid environments.
Outside of work, Krista channels her passion for problem-solving into the garage and the racetrack—building, tuning, and racing her own car alongside her family in national drag racing events. Through racing, she also advocates for neurodiversity awareness and inclusion, reinforcing her broader mission: to mentor and support the next generation of cybersecurity professionals, especially women and those who don’t fit the industry’s traditional mold.
