Description

Today’s CISO operates under relentless pressure: constant vigilance, public accountability, and the knowledge that if something goes wrong, their name may be the one in the headline. Midnight in the War Room explores the isolation, anxiety, and burnout that come with carrying that burden—and asks whether burnout is an inevitable part of the job, or the result of systems that all but guarantee it.

This session reframes cyber defense as more than an IT function. It is a human and societal resilience function. If every citizen is now part of the attack surface, then resilience depends not only on stronger technology, but on stronger people, better education, and greater investment in the humans behind the systems.
